A Fancy Nancy Tea Soiree

“Do what makes you feel FANCY” -Fancy Nancy

My daughter, Rosie, and I had the distinct pleasure of being invited to a special Fancy Nancy Tea Soiree (that’s French for party), hosted by Disney Junior for the opening of the show today; July 13th, 2018. The new TV show is based off of the book series that little ones have been in love with for years, including us. We were treated to an evening of fun at the Disney Studio’s in Burbank where we were surrounded by Disney magic. First we walked the pink carpet…

Once off the pink carpet we entered a wonderland of girly, fancy fun that was tres chic (that’s French for sophisticated)! The girls had the chance to pick out a pair of wings, tiara’s, boa’s, tutu’s and more. Literally a little girls dream come true (and mine too)!;)

There were lots of arts and crafts like coloring butterflies, making flower head bands, decorating butterflies and more.

Of course if you just wanted to dance around in front of giant mirror’s you could do that too!;)

We were also treated to a preview of the show, which was pretty much the cutest thing ever! Rosie immediately fell in love with it asking if we could watch it again.

Later, Rosie and I opted for matching airbrush tattoo’s, this might have been the highlight of her night!;)

The highlight of my night was sitting and talking with the two creators of the Fancy Nancy series; Jane O’Connor the author and Robin Glasser the illustrator.

Of course the night would not have been complete without some magnific desserts (that’s French for magnificent).

And of course taking a picture with the most adorable little fancy Nancy’s was a must…and all the fabulous moms too!;)

We were also sent home with a little goodie bag filled with Fancy Nancy stickers, a new book, bookmark and even a boa so we could always be our absolute fanciest.
