The World Premiere of Lion King

“Remember who you are…” -Lion King

We had the honor to be invited to the world premiere of The Lion King at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood just this week. It was the first time for the kids to walk the red carpet (my second time, which you can read about here), so of course we dressed the part and anxiously awaited for the day to arrive. The movie doesn’t actually come out until July 19th, so this was a very early screening!

Once we found our way in Hollywood we got all checked in with our guest passes and headed to an exclusive area to see and meet some of the stars. The kids and I grabbed a front row spot and settled in to get a few autographs.

Rosie was a brave one and asked for signatures from anyone passing by, her first star interactions and she was a total natural.;) Colton was not as amused, he was more interested in just seeing the movie.

After the red carpet we headed into the Dolby Theater to go see the movie!

We grabbed our popcorn buckets and Colton seemed to perk up a bit.:) haha!

We loved the movie, a more full review to come soon, I can’t say too much about it just yet. I will say it was a little longer than normal at an hour and 58 minutes, but both kids did great! One of the coolest parts was just seeing the entire cast be introduced on the stage and knowing we were sitting in the same theater as all these Hollywood stars.

After the movie we headed straight to the after party where we were treated to lots of yummy food, treats and fun activities for the kids.

So happy I could have my friend Christina Patricio there with me!
