“We were not placed on this earth to walk alone.” -Thomas S. Monson

Ever since we ditched our single stroller for a double one life got a lot heavier. I did tons of research before we upgraded to stroll with two kids; went to the baby store to try out the different styles and asked numerous friends which one they picked and why. Although I liked the one we picked because it gave us the option to have both kids facing in multiple directions, I wasn’t happy with how extremely heavy the entire set up had become. Not only was it heavy, but we also had to take both seats completely off to dismantle it to get it into our trunk. Loading it up took time and lots of sweat. I thought long were the days of simply collapsing in one easy step and throwing it into the car with minimal effort.

We have been talking about getting a new stroller because it has been making trips to Disneyland especially hard when you need to collapse it quickly to get onto the tram. I knew trying to do it on my own with our current stroller was going to be impossible. I had to find something lighter that could collapse easy and would give our older kids more options for sitting or standing.

Well, to my surprise I found a friend using the Joovy Caboose Ultralight stroller with her two kids and I was immediately excited. She showed me how easy it was to stroll around, to get the kids in and out of the seats and especially to collapse it.

So of course I reached out to the company and asked for more details and they were gracious enough to gift us our very own Caboose Ultralight stroller.

I love that there are options for the older child to sit or stand and easily get out, which they so often do. I also like that there is a front seat that can still recline back for the younger child who may need to catch a cat nap mid day. There is an attachment if you still have a very young baby, you could put the car seat right on the stroller without having to take them out.

There is plenty of storage under the seats, a little trickier to get to once a child is already sitting in the back, but if you just roll the back seat forward you can reach in from the top.

They have a very convenient storage area that can fit two water bottles/drinks and other miscellaneous things like keys, sunglasses, phone or hand sanitizer.

The front seat does have an attachment for a snack tray with a spot for drinks as well. This is nice if you have a younger baby/toddler who does not want to get out and would like to just and have a snack. Both our kids are at the age where they want to get in and out of the stroller constantly, so we decided to leave the snack tray off for now.

There is a nice shade cover that can be pushed toward the front seat, or back, or cover both. There is also a nifty little attachment that can connect an extra piece of fabric from the handle storage area to the large sun shade to give the back seat even more shade if needed.

And of course in order to collapse it all you have to do is make sure the stroller is in an unlocked position, lift up on the two side handles and it bends in half. You don’t have to take any seats off, nothing extra needs to be done, just pick up and throw it in the back of the car.

I am not sure who is more excited about our new stroller; me or the kids. They both love the standing board in the back so they have to take turns who gets to be the “big kid.” I love that I am not breaking my back getting our stroller into the car anymore. I could not be happier with our Ultralight stroller from Joovy.

That looks like a great stroller. I like that you can zip it up to have some shade for the other kid. And I hear ya on getting onto a tram with two kids by yourself!

Yes, that extra zipper thing is cool! Yes, knew I needed a stroller I could collapse on my own to get on that Dland tram!;)

Honestly, I just love that I don’t have to take it all apart to fit it in my car and it doesn’t weigh 100 pounds!;)
